In Remembrance of Juneteenth

Today marks 155 years since the emancipation of slavery in all of America. First celebrated in Texas, Juneteenth is a time for the Black community to come together in community, to pray and to remember the horrors our ancestors survived so that we could gather here today. At NEBiP we celebrate Juneteenth to honor those that came before us and to keep our rich hostory alive for generations to come.
