Through our online series, #TheCouchConversations, NEBiP has created a platform to stimulate dialogue and foster connections between concerned community members, philanthropic leaders, and changemakers about the justice system and other policy issues. Up to 7,000 people have viewed the live discussions on topics including “Defund the Police: One Year Later” and “What Does It Mean to be Antiracist?”, which featured Ibram X. Kendi, founding director of the Center for Antiracism at Boston University and a 2021 MacArthur fellow.
