Historic New England, the region’s largest heritage preservation and conservation organization, seeks a dynamic executive assistant and board liaison to join our team. Reporting directly to the president and CEO, the executive assistant and board liaison uses excellent administrative, organizational, and communication skills to ensure exceptional coordination on all matters pertaining to the office of the president.
Responsibilities: The executive assistant and board liaison is the primary point of contact between the office of the president and staff and external constituencies. You are the liaison with the board of trustees and other governance groups, coordinate the president’s outreach and external relations efforts, and oversee special projects. You will work in a fast-paced environment that is mission-driven, results-oriented, and focused on excellent constituent service. You will have strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with good judgment and discretion.
