Join us on Juneteenth at Boston Medical Center for World Sickle Cell Day

Please join us to celebrate World Sickle Cell Day on Wednesday, June 19 at 4:30PM at Boston Medical Center Moakley Green- 830 Harrison Avenue, Boston MA, 02118. Also known as Juneteenth, this date commemorates the day Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) was recognized as a United Nations public health concern and is now used as a way to build awareness around the devastating effects of SCD for patients and their families. There is no better way to commemorate the abolition of slavery in the United States, than to come together as a community to recognize the impact that this disease has had on so many Black communities across the United States.
